Toshi is a very special girl, she is the first puppy by NZ Gr Ch Winuwuk Brief Encounter (Imp UK) to venture into the show ring in Australia. She was named not long after being born, when Sophie had to be rushed to the vet for an emergency c-section Toshi stayed at home. To keep warm she was put in a makeshift incubator made from a Toshiba laptop box since our proper incubator was taken to the vet for the impending arrivals. (Unless you are a "Torchwood" fan... :-)

She was shown very successfully to her Australian Champion title by Karen Martin of Bonnemme Boxers. Toshi's excellent construction saw her win multiple Best of Breed and Best of Group awards under specialists.

Now she is loved and owned by Shaaron Borg who is making great use of Toshi's drive and construction. She has her in training for agility and obedience, but right now she is competing incredibly successfully in lure coursing. In a short time she has qualified through the classes, always in the top few spots (even over sighthounds!) We are so proud of their achievements together and we look forward to posting more photos and details as her career progresses.

Queensland Boxer Club Championship Show - 6th June 2009

Showing in a very competitive class, our gorgeous plain girl won Best Puppy in Show under Mr R Verhulst of Tradonalee Boxers in Canada.
