Sooty is a blend of English and European breeding so has many beautiful features from both. She was only shown briefly as a puppy because I felt that her lack of flashy markings was holding her back, so she retired from the ring to the whelping box. There she produced some lovely puppies including Ronin Sip of Scotch (Lola), Ronin Outrageous Fortune (Imp NZ) (Pascale) and Ronin Faust N Furious (Imp NZ) (Vala).

Sooty is the most affectionate of all our dogs. If you're watching TV she can slither up onto your lap before you realise what she's doing. She loves big, squeezing bear hugs and sneaking in the bed on Saturday morning.
